designed, and installed the world's largest wind-driven rotating ventilator incorporating an internal modulating air damper to control the air change rate within the building.
The ventilator measures 3.6 metres diameter at the base, rising 9 metres
in height to the top of the wind vane. Despite weighing 750 kg, the cowl rotates away from the prevailing wind at speeds as low as 1 metre per second.
Internally suspends a 2.5m diameter inverted conical mirror cone that reflects light into the debating chamber below. The mirror cone is also height adjustable to control the light levels entering the building.
